Seminar on Renewable Energy: 
The business case by European and Japanese innovative SMEs

Objective

In the run up to the European Green Week taking place from 30th May to 5th June, and the G7 Hiroshima Summit in May 2023, the European Delegation to Japan is hosting the “EU-Japan Seminar Series on Green Transition” with the objective of providing an opportunity to debate European environmental and climate change policies with the broader stakeholders of policymakers, business community and the civil society in Japan.

Specifically, the Renewable Energy: the business case by European and Japanese innovative SMEs aims to:

  • Showcase European and Japanese innovative technologies contributing to the deployment of renewable energies.

  • Present the business case for going green.

  • Gather interest by the broader business community, institutional actors and academia for the green transition.
